22,000 Teachers to write Computer Based Qualifying Exam

The Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, TRCN, has concluded arrangement towards a successful conduct of the 2018 Batch A Computer Based Teachers professional Qualification Examination for would-be teachers.

A release by the Head Press and Protocols, MR Muyiwa Ojewumi, said the test was for the intending teachers who have met the Council’s conditions for registration, certification and licensing and have been cleared to sit for the examination.

“We have cleared 22,202 teachers for the batch Examination at designation computer based examination centre in the 36 state of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory FCT,” he said.

The examination will hold on Saturday 9th June 2018 in all the states of the Federation and the FCT except in Bauchi, Enugu, Kaduna, Kano and Taraba States where the examination will hold from Thursday 7th –Friday 8th June, 2018.

It however noted that “Candidate in Edo State are expected to take the examination in Delta state while candidates from Kogi state will have to wait for batch B Examination which will hold later in the year 2018,” he said.

According to the statement, the council has successfully trained some technical officers for the examination and the officers are ready for posting to examination centres nationwide as stakeholders in education are to monitor the Examination.
