Also in Ndagana polling centre of Ward C Lokoja Metropolis, there was disagreement which led to commotion at the polling centre.
This development disrupted election at the centre until security agents and INEC officials intervened.
As a result normalcy has resumed at the centre and voting is now in progress.
At Ward ‘A’ polling unit known as Crowther Memorial College, in Lokoja Local Government Area, number of eligible registered voters at the ward is approximately 2,055, but the turnout of voters is low because Kogi state is among the seven states that have off cycle governorship elections due to mainly previous judicial decisions.
