A fresh  bye election for the Adamawa state house of assembly at Nasarawo Binyeri state consituency in Mayobalwa local government is to be conducted today, Saturday, 23rd of March, 2019.
This was as a result of the death of an APC member Adamu kwanote  representing the consituency in the state house of assembly, who died two days before the governorship and house of assembly election that was conducted on 9th February 2019.
Also in Hong local government, the suplimentary election will be conducted in three polling unit to fill the gap for the Uba /gaya state consituency sit which was announced inconclusive during the governorship and house of assembly election.
In respect of the inconclussive election for the governorship in Adamawa state, which was slated for Sunday, 23rd of March, the election would not hold due to the state high court ruling that restrained INEC from conducting the election in over 40 polling units across the state.
The decision was as a result of a request filed by a Movement for the Restoration and Defence of Democracy, MRDD on the absence of its logo on the ballot paper of the governorship election that was announced inconclusive.
