A retired sports administrator, Elias Gora, has advised administrators of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) to always consult with stakeholders as they prepare for the upcoming 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Speaking in Lagos, Gora said this would be beneficial to the federation in their day-to-day operations.
“You may not get the best from us, but ask us first. Approach us first.
“You don’t know, when you will get good advice, and you don’t know where it will come from.
“So we ask the federation ministry, to always consult those who have been there before.’’
Gora, who was Team Nigeria’s Chef de Mission to the 2010 New Delhi Commonwealth Games, added that Team Nigeria would was perform well at the Commonwealth Games if they work hard.
