Agency encourages Youths to adopt career in ICT

The Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency, NITDA Mr Kashif Inuwa has advised participants of the 2019 Aiivon Summer Kids Camp to adopt career paths in Information Communications Technology-ICT.

The DG stated this at the closing ceremony of the programme organised in partnership with the Agency in Abuja.

“NITDA will continue to lead the efforts in creating an enabling environment for technology innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. We invite other Public Institutions to key into the numerous initiatives driven by NITDA to achieve a common goal.

“The 2 week long skill acquisition training in ICT will challenge your interest in technology and equip you with strong foundational skills in ideation,” he said.

The top five participants were presented with laptops donated by the Agency, while Certificates of Participation were presented to all participants.

The NITDA Kids Kode Kamp skill acquisition initiative, aimed at catching them young is poised towards increasing the interest of  young population to adopt tech careers and tech entrepreneurship .
