Ahead of the UEFA Champions League final against Tottenham Hostpurs, Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold says the Merseyside is under no pressure.
Speaking with journalists at a press conference on Friday, the 20-year old right-full back said the presence of thousands of Liverpool fans would spur the team to deliver another ‘special European night.’
“I don’t think there’s extra pressure. Already, even the numbers (fans) that are already here (in Madrid) can’t enter the stadium, we know there’s a lot of support here” he said.
“Even without seeing videos or anything, we know that wherever we go in Europe or anywhere in the world the support is always going to be there; that’s part ad parcel of being at a massive club like Liverpool.”

Alexander-Arnold played a vital role in the massive comeback against FC Barcelona in the second leg semi-finals last month; providing two assists as Liverpool overturned a 3-0 deficit to win 4-0 on the night and 4-3 on aggregate.
The English International says they are ready to do it again.
“The lads are prepared to put everything on the line for the fans and i think hopefully, everyone that is here, back home and all around the world will be able to celebrate tomorrow (Saturday) night.”
Liverpool are seeking their sixth champions league trophy, while London side Tottenham would hope to clinch their maiden triumph.
This would be the second All-English final in eleven years.
