The non-teaching Staff of the Federal University, Kashere, in Gombe State, under the Joint Action Congress, has given the university management a 3-day ultimatum to complete the disbursement of the Earned Allowance by the Federal Government without delay.

A statement by the union said it reached the conclusion at a meeting, which demanded that the management provide details of the payment made to some selected staff, including amount and parameters used in the disbursement.

The non-teaching Staff of the Federal University Kashere, said the university management should adopt the recommendation of the committee on Earned Allowance set up by the SSANU and NASU for the disbursement  of the allowance.

They said failure to meet the demands would attract a warning strike by the unions, as well as a peaceful protest to express their grievances.
