A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC,, has urged the newly sworn-in ministers to redouble their efforts and justify the confidence President Muhammadu Buhari had on them and deliver on the campaign promise of the present administration.

made the call in an interview with Voice of Nigeria in Abuja while reacting to the distinctive qualities of personalities assigned to each ministry by the President.
Mr Saidu while calling on the ministers to be more proactive and dedicated in the discharge of their duties to the service of the nation also enjoined the appointees to continue to implement policies and execute people -oriented projects that would change the narrative for Nigerians in this next level.
Saidu who is also the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC, congratulated all the ministers, particularly the two ministers of FCT Malam Mohammed Musa Bello who is the senior minister and Hajiya Ramatu Tijani, the Minister state for FCT.
Call to serve
He urged them to see the opportunity by the President as a call to serve the city and the nation at large.
Saidu described the duo as capable of driving a robust initiative that would usher the country and in particular FCT into the next level of the Buhari second term campaign slogan.
While acknowledging the challenges ahead of the ministers, the party chieftain requested the ministers to renew their commitment to achieve all set goals in the interest of the nation.
He then solicited the support of all FCT residents for the two ministers to succeed in their national assignment.
“We are happy with the caliber of persons that president Muhammadu Buhari has as his new cabinet members. We are optimistic that these caliber of persons that were sworn-in as ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria have all it takes to deliver on the President campaign promises to Nigerians.”
“We the APC chieftains in FCT are happy for the return of the immediate pass minister, Malam Muhammed Musa Bello and the new minister of state for FCT, Hajiya Ramatu Tijani.
“You cannot satisfy everyone at all time. You know all power belong to God and the person that appointed him know why he did so. We the FCT family and by extension the largest proportion of the FCT residents appreciate what the minister has done so far and we also know that it requires resilience to change the narrative of things in this next level agenda,” Saidu stated.
Saidu urged the ministers to unite members of the party in FCT and to also carry them along in most of the policies and programmes that would better the lives of residents.
