Army decorates newly promoted Master Warrant Officers

The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai has recently gave his approval for the promotion of soldiers.

Among the soldiers approved for promotion were 13 Warrant Officers (WO’s) from Headquarters 2 Division Nigerian Army promoted to the amiable rank of Master Warrant Officer (MWO).

The Deputy Director Army Public Relations, 2 Division Nigerian Army, Colonel Hasdan Mohammed said that the essence of the promotion is to appreciate the soldiers for their immense service to the Nigerian Army and their mother land.

According to him, they got their promotion as a sign of recognition of their valor commitment.

Colonel Mohammed said “the decoration ceremony of the newly promoted Warrant Officers with their new rank of Master Warrant Officer was well attended by officers and men of 2 Division Nigerian Army, including the General Officer Commanding 2 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Anthony Omozoje.”

Major General Omozoje encouraged the newly promoted Master Warrant Officers to remain committed to their duty so they can continue to be of relevance in the Nigerian Army.

He also encouraged them to continue in their supreme service to humanity, the security of the nation and it’s human inhabitants as a whole.

Major General Omozoje prayed for the newly decorated Master Warrant Officers to continue to be in good health and remain committed to the service of the nation.
