Army reunites rescued hostages with parents in Borno state

The Nigerian army have reunited children abducted two years ago by Boko Haram terrorists with their parents at Ngafure village in Dikwa Local Government Area of Borno State.

In a statement signed by the Director Army Public Relations of the Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Texas Chukwu, troops of the 22 Brigade deployed in Operation Lafiya Dole rescued the hostages.

Rescuing all the hostages
The hostages comprised two boys and two girls and they were rescued during a clearance operation at Maima village in Ngala Local Government Area of the State.

A 36 hand grenade was also recovered during the operation.

The rescued hostages are currently receiving medical attention at the military health facilities as the Nigerian Army continues  to restate its commitment in rescuing all the hostages held by the Boko Haram terrorists .
