The crowning of Miss Jamaica, Tori-Ann Singh as Miss World 2019 has ended this year’s historic pageant circuit as it marks the first time the titles for all five top beauty contests in the world were won by black women.

Also, Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi, has been celebrated as a big feat for black beauties around the world in addition to Miss America Nia Franklin, Miss USA Cheslie Kryst and Miss Teen USA 2019 Kaliegh Garris.

“Please know that you are worthy and capable of achieving your dreams. This crown is not mine but yours. You have a PURPOSE.”
