Casemiro: ‘Real Madrid lost control, fell apart’

Real Madrid’s Casemiro says his side lost control and fell apart against Manchester City in their UEFA Champions League clash.

The English side rallied from a goal down to beat the Galaticos 2-1; captain Sergio Ramos was also sent off.

The explanation is obvious,‘ he told television channel Movistar.

We did 75 minutes really well and then we didn’t have any intensity, we lost control of the game, we sat back and they are a great rival, they attacked twice and scored.

There’s no excuse. At the weekend we’ve got a tough game against Barcelona. We need to start thinking about that.’

Casemiro believes Real Madrid can turn around its situation in the second leg clash at the Etihad stadium in three weeks time.
