The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board says the first set will be airlifted to Saudi Arabia on July 10.
The Board’s Executive Secretary in Kano, Alhaji Mohammad Danbatta stated this at a press conference on Monday.
Alhaji Danbatta said that ”the board has commenced sensitisation in all the 44 local government areas, to educate intending pilgrims on activities.”
The board would commence a medical screening on Saturday.
All female intending pilgrims are to undergo pregnancy tests at the Hajj Camp clinic, to ascertain their ability to perform the rituals health wise and in accordance with the holy land health tips to all the pilgrims across the globe.
”Equally the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON has extended the registration of intending pilgrims to 10th July, 2019, so for interested persons who are still willing to go for hajj now have the privilege to make payment against the earlier deadline,”Alhaji Danbatta.
