Botswana confirms first coronavirus cases

Botswana’s Minister of Health and Wellness Lemogang Kwapze has announced that the country has three cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

During a special bulletin Kwape said the three patients are 2males and a female, who had travelled from Thailand and the United Kingdom respectively.

Kwape further indicated the COVID-19 patients are already in isolation undergoing treatment.

Botswana is the one of the two countries in the Southern Africa bloc which had not recorded any positive cases of COVID-19.
