Preparations are in top gear ahead of the first observance of the June 12, Democracy Day in Nigeria.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation Mr Boss Mustapha said this while on inspection to the Eagle Square, venue of the event, in Abuja, Nigeria.
“The preparations are going on very well. We are confident that we will be able to put up art that is befitting of the celebration of our new National Day, our Democracy Day”, He said.
Mr Mustapha stated that Nigerians should expect the best from the government.
” It is going to be an interplay of culture with military parade which will eventually climax with a broadcast by the President . Nigerians will not be disappointed“. He added.
The new democracy day is expected to hold on the 12th of June, yearly.
