The Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Shehu Idris says the Emirate will continually solicit support for the Kaduna State Government to improve the lives of its masses.
He made the pledge when the Wife of the Kaduna State Governor, Mrs Ummi El-Rufai visited the Palace in Zaria to congratulate the Emir and the entire Emirate over the success of her husband’s re-election during the 2019 polls.
The Emir also prayed for the success of the present administration and promised their allegiance as well as the emirate’s willingness to continue giving it’s best in ensuring good service delivery to the citizens of the State.
“If there is any area this government needs us to give our support for the betterment of the people, just let us know. We are willing and ready to support government always,” he said.
Mrs El-Rufai said all leaders, both at the State and Federal levels require prayers to achieve the set goals designed to improve the lives of the people.
“Malam Nasiru El-Rufai is set to redouble his efforts in carrying out projects meant for the masses but it has to be slow and steady. With consistent prayers and support, goverment will record success in the long run,” she stated.
Ummi applauded the Emirate for ensuring peace is sustained before and after the elections.
She said “We appreciate the youths for being cooperative and calm during the elections, Government is drawing up Judicial strategies to empower them soon.”
She thanked the people of Zaria for re-electing her husband into office and assured them that, they will not regret doing so.
The Chairman, Zaria Local Council, Alhaji Aliyu Ibrahim mentioned that Zaria is the birth town of the Governor, hence, the assurance of their total support for his administration.
During an appreciation visit to Makarfi Local Government Area, the Chairman of the Council, Alhaji Kabiru Mu’azu applauded Mrs El-Rufai for making out time to visit them and also thanked her for the gifts she distributed to the people.
Food items distributed during the visit to Zaria and Makarfi Local Councils by the APC Gida Gida team included, rice, spaghetti, vegetable oil, wrappers and slippers.
