Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has been ruled out of the England/Nigeria friendly scheduled for Wembley stadium on Saturday.
The Leicester defensive midfielder has failed to train fully with the rest of the Eagles squad, despite undergoing a private training schedule with team physios.
It is not yet clear if Ndidi will feauture against Czech republic in the Eagles final friendly before the opening clash with Croatia.
Meanwhile, Chelsea teen defender Ola Aina was missing from the Super Eagles first full training session in London ahead of their clash against England at Wembley on Saturday, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.
Speaking on the reason behind the exclusion of Aina who spent last season on loan to English Championship side Hull City, coach Gernot Rohr said his absence is due to the fact that they wanted to have eleven players up against eleven players in a mini training game.
” We have twenty five players here and we can’t play twelve against twelve but eleven against eleven “, Rohr said after the training session ahead of the high profile friendly against England.
The Eagles had their first training on Thursday afternoon at the Hive, Barnet Stadium.
