Super Eagles midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has joined La Liga side Getafe on a six-month loan deal from English Championship side Stoke City.
According to reports by Football Espana, the Madrid-based club have an option to sign Etebo permanenetly after the end of the loan deal.
He is set to replace Markel Bergara, who announced to Getafe his desire to retire due to series of injuries.
Etebo returns to Spain, after previously playing for La Palmas, joining on a six-month loan in January 2018 from Portuguese side Feirense.
He joined Stoke in June 2018 for €7.2m after an impressive display at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The Eagles midfielder played 37 times for Stoke in 2018/19 season, where they finished in the 16th position.
He has however struggled for playing time in Stoke this season since coming from injury, featuring only 12 times.
