The National Examination Council NECO has declared it stand to abide by the next level mantra of the President Muhammadu Buhari, epitomised by transparency and adherence to due process.
The leadership of the Acting Registrar of the Council, Abubakar Mohammed Gana, and the Governing Board, Dr. Abubakar Saddiq Mohammed made the declarations in a statement signed and made available to Journalists by the Head, Information and Public Relations of the council, Azeez sanni.
The council which says it is on the same page with the President on zero tolerance to impunity called on members of the public to disregard an on-line publication purporting that the council was planning to recruit new members of staff.

According to NECO, “The attention of the National Examinations Council (NECO) has been drawn to an on-line publication purporting that the Council is planning to recruit new members of Staff.

“The Council enjoins members of the public to disregard the publication as it has no plan to recruit new Staff”
Neco further stages that the publication was the product of the imagination of fraudsters who were out to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.
