Nigeria’s 2-0 win over Korea Republic at the FIFA Women’s World Cup continues to reverberate nationwide.
Following the shock Norwegian defeat on Saturday, fans were shocked to see first-choice Goal keeper Tochukwu Oluehi taken off.
Instead Nnadozie Chiamaka manned the sticks – And did she deliver a first class performance!
So good was her outing, that the 18-years-old became the youngest keeper to keep a clean sheet at the Women’s World Cup.
She explains how it all went down:
@NGSuper_Falcons Goalkeeper @Nnadoziechiama1 bare her mind on her debut. She said "When I saw my name on the starting line up…" #SoarSuperFalcons #Team9jaStrong #FIFAWWC #DareToShine @FIFAWWC @thenff @ayomidiran @aysugaofficial @AdeRockets pic.twitter.com/TQeB2KrUAF
