Femi Otedola foots Majek Fashek’s London medical bill

Nigerian billionaire and philanthropist, Femi Otedola has again come to the rescue of reggae star, Majek fashek.

Otedola’s intervention came following the Music Icon’s admission in a London hospital for an undisclosed sickness, but couldn’t foot the medical bills.

The Reggae Icon, known for his popular music “send down the rain” is currently receiving treatment at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in London, United Kingdom.

Earlier in the week, a rumour had it that Majek fashek died on his hospital bed , but the rumour was quickly countered by his Manager, Uzoma Day Omenka, but confessed that the rainmaker was in a critical condition.

Otedola had at a time spent N36,635,000 for the medical bills of former captain and coach of the Super Eagles, Christian Chukwu, who had  a major surgery and treatment at the Wellington Hospital, London.

He also also came to the aid of Peter Fregene, a former Green Eagles goalkeeper, who had been bedridden since 2001.                             

The businessman  is currently taking care of the medical bills of an actor and a lead character in the popular TV soap opera series, Tinsel,Victor Olaotan, in a Turkish hospital alongside that of ailing Nollywood actor, Sadiq Daba.

Daba has been battling leukaemia and prostate cancer for the past few years and is currently in a London hospital receiving treatment.
