The managing director said the farm was designed after the Songhai model, adding that it would go a long way to address the increasing unemployment and poverty rate in the area.

He said that the farm project would be handled by the Songhai farm in Porto Nova, Benin Republic, adding that such model should be embraced by farmers in the country.
