In Kebbi state North West Nigeria, voters started arriving polling units as early as 6:30 am while the INEC Ad-hoc staff arrived after seven am.
Sensitive and non sensitive materials arrived in time before 8 am when the voting started and equipments were working fine.
Voice of Nigeria correspondents paid visits to Sabon Garin Jega A&B, Filing Tsakowa M&O in Jega LGA, Shiyyar Kudu 1 PU 006 and 004 in Kalgo LGA, and Nassarawa ward 2 PU 006, Gwadan gwaje quarters 014 in Birnin Kebbi LGA.
There was massive turn out of voters especially women in these polling units and elections were generally peaceful and hitch free.
The presence of security agencies helped in the peaceful process of the exercise.
Voice of Nigeria also sought the views of Domestic observers as well as the voters and they all testified to the satisfaction of the election process.
