The first batch of pilgrims that performed this year’s pilgrimage from Kwara State through the state pilgrims Welfare board to Saudi Arabia have arrived safely back home.
Max Airline that airlifted the pilgrims totalling 560 landed at the Ilorin International Airport at about 11.45 p.m.
An official of the board who spoke with VON noted that this year’s outbound flights would be smooth while all the pilgrims are in high spirit.
According to him, no casualty was recorded from the state during this year’s pilgrimage.
A total of 2,221 pilgrims performed the 2019 pilgrimage from the state through the board .
