Former France and Newcastle forward Hatem Ben Arfa has joined LaLiga side Real Valladolid.
The 32-year-old, who spent five years at St James’ Park and also spent time on loan at Hull, has signed a deal until the end of the season.
Ben Arfa, who has 15 caps for France, had been without a club since leaving Ligue 1 outfit Rennes in the summer.
A statement on Valladolid’s website said: “Hatem Ben Arfa is a new Real Valladolid player until the end of this season.”
“The French attacker signed his contract on Tuesday and on Wednesday he will join the work under Sergio Gonzalez.”
