Collation of election results are yet to start in Imo state due to delay in posting of collation officers.
As at 10.am on Sunday, the collation center within the INEC premises in Owerri, the Imo state capital, was under lock and key.
An INEC official who spoke to Voice of Nigeria said collation officers were assigned to their different locations on Sunday morning and that collation will comence between 2 and 4pm.
Normally, collation in local government areas should have commenced in the evening of election day.
The delay will no doubt affect the time for the announcement of the result.
