The governorship candidate of Action Alliance in Imo, Uche Nwosu, and his All Progressive Grand Alliance counterpart, Ifeanyi Ararume, have expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the Governorship and House of Assembly elections.
Nwosu spoke to newsmen after casting his vote at Eziama Obaire booth 008 in Nkwerre Local Government Area of the state on Saturday.
He expressed confidence that he would win the governorship election.
The candidate commended the security arrangement, saying that the state was peaceful contrary to people’s expectations.
He urged other candidates to play by the rules to ensure the elections were free and fair.
On his part, Ararume said he was satisfied so far with the conduct of the elections.
He also spoke after casting his vote at his booth 002 in Isiebu Autonomous Community, Isiala Mbano Local Government Area.
He equally expressed satisfaction with the turnout of voters.
The candidate urged the people to always go out and exercise their franchise to determine who would govern them.
