Kebbi Governor Bagudu wins gubernatorial election

The Governor of Kebbi state, Abubakar Bagudu.

The Kebbi State Chief Collation and Returning Officer Professor Armayau Hamisu Bichi has announced the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State, Senator Atiku Bagudu, as winner of the  state’s governorship election.

Professor Bichi who made the announcement at the state collation centre Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic Birnin Kebbi  said Governor Bagudu who is also the incumbent of the north west state got 673,717 votes defeating his closest rival of the main opposition party, the People’s Democratic Party  PDP, Isa Muhammed  Galaudu who pulled 106,633 votes.

Kebbi State comprises 21 local governments and the APC won all the 21 local governments.
