Kenya: Inflation rises to 4.35%


Kenya’s inflation rose to 4.35 percent year-on-year in March 2019 from to 4.14 percent a month earlier, due to rising food prices.

The country’s National Bureau of Statistics which disclosed this in a statement also said that on a month-on-month basis, inflation was 1.60 percent.

It added that the food and non-alcoholic index rose 3.30 percent month-on-month.
