New executive members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara state have been inaugurated.
A state counsel, Barrister Olanrewaju Afeez administered the oath of office on the 36 members of the state executive and 16 local government chairmen of the party.
Speaking during the brief ceremony, the state chairman of the party, Alhaji Ishola Balogun-Fulani charged the new members of the executive to carry along every member to move the party forward.
The Party chairman also admonished the party leaders to embark on reconciliation among members of the party where and when necessary to assuage feelings of any aggrieved member.
Alhaji Balogun- Fulani also charged the new executive members to be accountable and transparent in their dealings, saying their performance in office would attract more members to the party stressing that the forthcoming 2019 general elections is a crucial one in the state.
He therefore called on them to work for the success of all representatives of the party in the elections.
