Kwara Governor approves counterpart fund for Projects

The Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has approved the sum of 200 million Naira counterpart fund for the take off of Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Projects 111.

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works and Transport, Dr. Yusuf Manjo said this after receiving the approval documents from the Governor.

Dr Manjo described Governor Abdulrazaq as ‘a man of few words but more action’ and commended him for his sheer commitment to turning things around within a few weeks of inauguration.

He noted that the Governor has been facilitating projects that would immensely benefit the masses since his assumption of office, stressing that “his body language is a practical demonstration of sincere service to the masses and fulfillment of his electioneering promises.”

Dr. Manjo added that with the government of Abdulrazaq, the people of Kwara would now begin to feel the climate of genuine governance, urging them to be patient.

The Director, Civil Engineering Department, Ministry of Works and Transport, Biliaminu Folorunsho also commended the governor for his zeal to transform Kwara.
