Kwara United threatens to sack Obuh over poor results

Tunde Akanbi,

The Kwara State Football Stakeholders Forum has called for immediate sack or resignation of Coach John Obuh of Kwara United Football Club.

This, according to the Forum, followed the poor performance of the team in recent time. This is contained in a statement signed by the Chairman of the Forum, Alhaji Lanre Jaji, who recalled that the need to relieve the Coach of his appointment had been published some weeks ago.

The statement explained that all the efforts made by stakeholders appealing to him to change the face of the team did not yield any result.  It said the appeal became necessary to pave way for a new, intelligent and professional technical adviser to take over the club and rescue the team from relegation.

Recently, the chairman of the Harmony boys, Prince Oladimeji Thompson gave the technical crew lead by Coach Sam John Obuh three matches ultimatum after his team lost their home encounter against Rivers United on Sunday.
