Chelsea boss, Frank Lampard, has warned teen sensation Fikayo Tomori to give 100 per cent concentration while defending against Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane in Sunday’s crunch clash against the Reds at the Bridge.
The Blues and the Reds come into the clash on the back of Champions League defeats to Valencia and Napoli respectively.
Both sides will be eager to move on from their losses, gunning for a positive result, and Lampard insisted that Tomori and the other defenders must keep the backline tight if they’re to come out unscathed at the end of 90 minutes.
“I think Tomori has shown that he has real quality and calmness with how he has arrived into a first-time into the Premier League,
“What we must make sure is with Liverpool if you give them a second or half a second that they are gone and can hurt you.
“So those are the things that all our defenders have to be aware of their attackers.” He said.
