Real Madrid are reportedly eyeing a next summer swap deal involving Paul Pogba and Toni Kroos.
Zinedine Zidane failed to bring in his main target in the summer window just gone as Manchester United stood firm over their French World Cup winner’s future.
But the Spanish giants, who beat Levante 3-2 on the weekend in La Liga, have not given up in their pursuit of Pogba and are set go back in for him.
Zidane remains determined to acquire the services of Pogba and will look to offload Kroos to the Premier League outfit to help speed the deal up.
The report claims that United are also interested in Germany international Kroos, who just signed a new deal until the summer of 2023.
Any deal is likely to consist of a fee in the region of £18million plus Kroos for 26-year-old Pogba.
Pogba missed United’s 1-0 home victory against Leicester in the Premier League on Saturday but he had featured in their opening four matches.
The Frenchman, whose United side currently sit fourth, has created two assists for his team-mates so far.
