Trabzonspor midfielder, Mikel Obi, has expressed disappointment at his side’s 2-1 home loss to Denizlispor in the Turkish Super Lig on Monday but adds that they have all it takes to bounce back from the defeat.
The home side took the lead through an Oguz Yilmaz own goal in the 21st minute but a second half brace from former striker, Hugo Rodallega, ensured Denizlispor secured a crucial away win.
Mikel was substituted in the 86th minute and replaced by Donis Avdijaj, few minutes after Denizlispor’s second goal.
“We dominated the match in the first half of the game,” the former Chelsea star said after th egame.
“I didn’t quite understand the position of the opponent’s striker.
“They scored a goal. We had to step forward to find the second goal. Then they (Denizlispor) scored a second through a counterattack from their defensive position.”
“Unfortunately, there are such things in football, but you need to look ahead,” he said after the game.
