More than 4000 lawyers called to Bar in Nigeria

The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Mohammed has called the total number of four thousand four hundred and fifty five new wigs to the Nigerian Bar.

Justice Tanko congratulated them for their good conduct during screening and for being excellent both in character and learning.

He advised them to be courageous and bold in discharging their duties as the profession entails.“You must be bold, maintain rule of law, be ethical and civil and avoid conflict of interest with your client, irrespective of their tribe, religion and culture”. He added.

The Director-General, Nigeria Law School Abuja, professor Isa Chiroma who also congratulated the new Wigs urged them to maintain the pace in all their endeavors as it concerns discharging their legal duties.

 Some of the new Wigs expressed their happiness as they can appear before any court in Nigeria from lower to Apex Court.

 From all indications, the new Wigs are ready to transform the judicial Administration in Nigeria for better justice delivery.
