The Executive Secretary of the Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board Mallam Abubakar Hassan Nalaraba, on Tuesday, paid glowing tributes to officials of the National Hajj Commission, NAHCON.
In a statement, the Public Relations Officer of the Board, Malam Abdulrazaq Muhammad in Makkah, commended NAHCON for working to tirelessly to help in the recovery of the missing wallet of one of the pilgrims from Nasarawa State.
He described the efforts made by NAHCON in concert with state officials of the Board, as confidence boosting for pilgrims, on the activities of Nahcon in the Holy Land.
Nalaraba assured officials of the NAHCON of his board’s commitment to synergize with them for the provision of effective welfare of Nigeria pilgrims.
He urged pilgrims from Nasarawa State and beyond to handle their money with care and control their spending to avoid facing hardship during their stay in the Holy Land.
It would be recalled that Muhammad Nuhu popularly known as Wa’Lahalaha, a pilgrim from Nasarawa state, lost his wallet containing his Basic Travel Allowance in his Madina hotel.
It was later found with the aid of the Hotel CCTV camera and the wallet and contents returned to him.
