Nassarawa state makes plans to host annual festival

The Governor of Nassarawa state Abdullahi Sule said his administration is making plans to drive tourism in his state.

Sule who played host to the National President of Nigeria Association of Tour Operators (NATOP) Bilkisu Abdul recently in Lafia the Nassarawa state capital says he NATOP to revive the tourism potentials of the State.

The Governor had invited the President of the association to brief her on the plans of the state to host an annual cultural festival.

He told Mrs Abdul that he is impressed with the news he has been reading about her work as NATOP President as it is now becoming a household name among many Government agencies in the tourism sector.

“I want to join NATOP so I can drive Tourism in my state” the Governor says.

He invited the President to bring her Members to enjoy the tourism resources of the state.

Many activities had been lined up for the end of year for NATOP members including Carnival Calabar, Igue Festival in Benin and now the Nassarawa Cultural Festival.
