Niger State adopt plans of integrating Qur’anic Scholars

Niger State Government in North Central Nigeria has set plans of integrating Islamic Religious Scholars with the aim of encouraging their contribution in the states development.

The Governor of the States Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello stated this while Congratulating Master Hafeez Mubarak Abdulkareem for emerging best at the 23rd Annual National Qur’anic Recitation Competition held in Nassarawa State, Northern Nigeria.

He said the Niger State Government would soon make available, comprehensive teaching of the Holy Books to the young ones in order to appreciate the reason for existence and be good citizens in the society.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mrs. Mary Noel Berje, the Governor Abubakar Sani Bello said the performance of Mubarak as the best Qur’anic reciter, Would definitely encourage more young Muslims in the state to dwell more in Islamic Studies.

“We are happy with your achievement, you made us proud and we are happy you did,” he said.

The Governor further admitted that intensifying holistic religious teaching would provide the spiritual cleansing, correct moral decadence and bring about progress and development of the society.

The Governor however assured that the state government would continue to recognise and encourage individuals who bring honour and glory to the state.
