Nigeria commends Korea’s Education development in Abuja

The Nigerian government has commended the Republic of Korea in promoting quality education in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.

The Minister of State for Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Dr. Ramatu Aliyu gave the commendation when the Korea Ambassador to Nigeria, H.E In-Tea Lee paid a courtesy visit to the administration in Abuja.

The Minister expressed the appreciation of the people of the territory to the Government of the Republic of Korea for its contribution to education in the FCT.

She used the occasion to the Korean government to replicate the quality of the model school established in Abuja in other states of the federation, saying ”the best education equipment are installed in the model school.”  

Dr Aliyu said; “I will like to use this opportunity to appreciate the Government of the Republic of Korea and International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) for their continuous collaboration and cooperation with the FCTA.”  

Bilateral relationship
She described the establishment of Nigeria/Model school as a proof of fruitful and beneficial bilateral relationship that exists between both countries.

H.E Major General In-Tea Lee informed the Minister that the Korean Government has tentatively fixed September 26, 2019, as handover date of the school to FCTA, just as he expressed happiness on the level of work done.

He revealed that high quality equipment have been installed in the school for teaching and learning comparable to any school in the world and commended the FCT Administration for the maintenance culture.
