Nigeria on Sunday reported 490 new cases of COVID-19 bringing the country’s total infections to 24,567.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known while announcing new cases of Coronavirus in the country.
According to the NCDC, on the 28th of June 2020, 490 new cases were confirmed in Nigeria. Till date, 24,567 cases have been confirmed, 9,007 cases have been discharged with 565 deaths recorded.
Of the 490 new cases reported, Lagos the country’s epicentre for the virus reported the highest number of cases with 118 new infections.
