Nigeria has recorded 571 new cases of the coronavirus pandemic, bringing the total number of infections to 32,558.
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) gave the update late on Sunday.
Out of the total 32,558, 13,447 patients have recovered and been discharged from various isolation and treatment centers in the country, leaving a total of 18,371 active cases.
Nigeria has so far recorded 740 deaths.

A breakdown of the report shows that Lagos state has 152 new infections, Ebonyi 108, Edo 53 and Ondo 46.
The FCT has 38 new infections, Oyo-20, Kwara-19, Plateau-17, Osun-14, and Bayelsa-14.
In addition, Ekiti recorded 14 new cases, Katsina-14, Akwa Ibom-11, Kaduna-11, Rivers-11, Niger-10, Ogun-7, Kano-6, Cross River-4, and Bauchi-2.
The NCDC said it was improving testing capacity across the country and urged Nigerians to continue to maintain all Covid-19 safety protocols to reduce the spread of the disease.
