The Office of the  Head of Civil Service of the Federation will commence a mop up exercise for all civil servants across Nigeria.

The Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita said this in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

She said exercise which would commence on Monday, 29th July to 7th of August 2019, was to enable civil servants who could not meet up with the first verification exercise to do it.

“Once we have finished the mop up, then we will be able to streamline those who are genuine civil servants and they are on the payroll, they are not retired, they are not deceased, they are not resigned, they are still in active service,” she noted

MRS Oyo-Ita who said that this would be the last verification exercise, warned that any civil servant who misses the exercise should blame themselves.
