Nigeria v Brazil-Super Eagles tinkers with three formation

The Super Eagles final training session provided no clue on how coach Gernot Rohr plans to line up the players when they take on Brazil tomorrow at 1pm Nigeria time in an international friendly in Singapore

Rohr who loves to play the 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 formation experimented with three different formations including the 3-5-2 formation where Moses Simon and Tyronne Ebuehi operated as the right and left wingback respectively.

However for large spell of the session they alternated with the 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1 formation more than any although the coach kept on switching personnel in midfield during the drills. The attack at a point was Victor Osimhen and Paul Onuachu.

In the last friendly game against Ukraine which ended in a 2-2 draw the coach played the 4-2-3-1 formation but from the team that played that game he is going to be without the trio of Oghenekaro Etebo, Samuel Kalu and Ola Aina which could probably mean a change in tactics.
