Nigeria Vs Iceland: Rohr reverts to 3-5-2 formation

Mazino Dickson

The Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr will line up a 3-5-2 formation against Iceland later today in their second group game at the Russia 2018 World Cup in Volgograd.

The German tactician used a 4-2-3-1 formation against Croatia, only to see the Eagles slump to a tepid 0-2 loss.

Victor Moses will move to the right wing-back position, while Kenneth Omeruo replaces Shehu Abdullahi as the team moves to a formation of three centre backs.

Odion Ighalo will make way for Kelechi Iheanacho.

Iheanacho will be supported by Ahmed Musa meaning Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi drops to the bench.
