Nigerian government completes over 60 projects in three years-AGF

The Nigerian Government has completed over sixty infrastructure projects across the country in the last three years in line with vision of the present administration.

Nigeria’s Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami disclosed this at the commissioning of the gully erosion and road improvement works in Nasarawa town, Nasarawa State north central Nigeria.

According to the Mr. Malami, the project is one of the twenty six Ecological Intervention Projects expected to check the menace of flooding and gully erosion in the affected communities.

“I have no doubts in my mind that government intervention will bring a huge relief to the communities which have for a very long time been stressed by these ecological challenges” he said.

The AGF also commended Ecological Fund Office, EFO for their commitment in ensuring timely completion of the project.

Remarking at the event, the Permanent Secretary Ecological Fund Office, Dr. Habiba Lawal charged the benefitting communities to ensure that the efforts of government is not allowed to waste.

“The resources which the Nigerian government committed to this lofty endeavour must be maintained.”
