Nigerian government restates commitment to tackle insecurity

The Minister of Police Affairs, Mr Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, says Nigerian Government is fully committed to improving the security situation in the country .

The Minister stated this in a statement, when the State, Zonal and Local Governments Executives of the All Progressives Congress, APC paid him a Congratulatory Visit in Sokoto State North West Nigeria.

According to Mr Dingyadi, President Muhammadu Buhari would fulfil his key campaign promises of tackling the challenges of insecurity, improving the economy, as well as sustaining the ongoing anti corruption fight .

He however underscored the need for all well meaning Nigerians to support the Federal Government, to ensure the success of all its programmes and policies .

He stressed the need for all Nigerians to take equal responsibility as stakeholders to move the country to next level .

The Minister lauded President Muhammadu  Buhari for introducing relevant policies and programmes that would improve living standard of all citizens in the country.

Earlier, the APC State Chairman, Mr Isa Sadiq Achida, said the visit was to congratulates the Minister on his well deserved appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Mr Achida described the new Minister of Police affairs as a worthy and able Representative of the state and the Party at the Federal Executive Council.

He also described the Minister as a loyal and committed member of the party, while he expressed confidence that , he will be diligent in the discharge of his duties.
