A University Don, Professor Badmus Lanre-Yusuf says the closure of Nigeria’s border posts has reduced cases of illegal importation of arms.

Professor Lanre-Badmus, a lecturer of lslamic Studies at the University of llorin, said this in an interview with newsmen in llorin, the Kwara State capital.
He stated that “the closure had also helped the economy as some Nigerians who patronise foreign goods especially food items now go for made in Nigeria goods.”
Professor Lanre-Badmus said local farmers and manufactuters were now counting their gains and assisting the nation’s economic growth.
