Nigeria’s Senate to facilitate Rapid Economic Development

The Nigerian Senate President, Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan has reassured Nigerians of preparedness of the Senate in providing a conducive atmosphere that will transformed the security, and economy development of the Country.

The Senate President gave the assurance on Sunday during a reception organised for Senator Mohammed Sani Musa representing eastern Senatorial District of Niger State in North Central Nigeria held in Minna.

Senator Lawan said: “Elections are over and it is time for governance devoid of political platform.”

He declared that the Senate will make sure all roads and Railways across the Country are revived so as to boost commercial activities with the rural and urban centres across the Country.

The Nigerian Senate President further emphasized on the need to reconsidered Niger State to ensure fair and justice for sacrifices it made in leasing its land for the establishment of Abuja the Nigerian Capital City.

The Senator representing Niger East Senatorial District, Senator Mohammed Sani Musa in a remarks promised to do the needful most especially on handling issues directed for his constituency projects.

“I will give priority to quality education of my people, especially women and children welfare, poverty eradication and also to enhanced security, health service policies, agriculture and employment,” said Senator Mohammed Sani Musa.
