The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board says it has introduced fourteen strategic innovations such as Integrated Brochure and syllabus system which will enable candidates check their eligibility for institutions and courses.
The Registrar of the Board, Professor Ishaq Oloyede made this known in Abuja during a critical Stakeholders meeting held on the conduct of the 2019 UTME.
Professor Ishaq Oloyede also warned that any Candidate who is involved in Examination infractions and who fails to carry out the mandatory Biometric Verification will not be allowed to sit for the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination UTME.
Prof. Oloyede also hinted that the board has approved the use of 708 Computer Based Test (CBT) centres across the country to be used for the conduct of the 2019 UTME.
He noted that the names of impersonators in the last 10 years would soon be published to serve as deterrent to others.
He, therefore, added that about 1.99 million candidates had registered for the 2019 UTME while calling on the candidates to ensure they comply with the rules and regulations of the examinations.
He mentioned that the board has increased its list of ban items to include Automated Teller Machine ATM Cards, high technology enhanced erasers and key holders.
